6:01:08the attention of our clerks um and to me um about some uh draft minutes that were accidentally

6:01:19written down incorrect and before they become permanent we need to correct the the record

6:01:25sort of now now what's happened since that was brought to our attention is that a few days later

6:01:33I found out that I was all also marked down incorrectly and then guess what a few days later

6:01:39after that counselor helzer also found out uh marked incorrectly uh accidents happen it's fine uh

6:01:48in my view it's fine it's up to council here but we have done we have we have corrected things

6:01:53like this in the past and I think uh it just bodes well for us to make sure that we are are correcting

6:01:59as we move forward uh and before I go to counselor Gibson um I just wanted to make sure that just

6:02:07just as a standard sort of practice moving forward uh for anybody that's chairing a meeting

6:02:14when a vote is called please make sure you when you say is anyone against that you don't just do

6:02:23account and then say pass or fail that you you say the last name okay like you actually say you know

6:02:31howzer guthrie goller richardson and chew and then and then that way it's on the record like it's

6:02:37it's actually captured and and the clerks have a better opportunity to sort of write that down um

6:02:44just because of the way hybrid works sometimes it sometimes the video doesn't show by accident

6:02:50like on the screen and so our clerks can't go back and sort of validate or whatever

6:02:55so it's really important as a chair just moving forward make sure you always state the last name

6:02:59of the people that are against that way it's just really clear and captured well all right with that

6:03:04I'll go to counselor Gibson uh to speak and move the motion for us please yeah thank you

6:03:12through you mr. mayor and seconded by councillor billings the following uh recommendations are

6:03:18put before you woke up last wednesday morning with a dozen or so notifications on my phone asking me

6:03:25why i voted the way i had had and i had spoken against the motions but i seemed to have voted for

6:03:29them i ran it down um it was reported wrong honest error i went back to the video to look to see if

6:03:37you could correct it just by video evidence and lo and behold i was not one of the four across the

6:03:42banner on the video and unfortunately the chair at the time didn't didn't say the names of the people

6:03:49who were for or against so we find ourselves in this predicament thank you very much to

6:03:54accounts sorry to clerks for bringing this forward so quickly on my behalf and i also wanted to thank

6:04:00our media partners who i've been discussing with i appreciate you correcting the record on this

6:04:06it goes to say it so that it was a consequential vote and i'm happy to make sure that my vote was

6:04:11recorded properly i appreciate it okay thank you um so it's for yourself and me and councillor

6:04:33that i was one of the people who was incorrectly um uh noted i voted in favor um for both clause one

6:04:45of the main motion and for clause two of the main motion yeah i actually remember seeing your hand i

6:04:52was sitting across away from you what's it say right now councillor Klassen i don't have it in

6:04:56front of me it does say that i voted against for both on both yeah interesting okay so um um

6:05:06can we just uh can we just have the clerks just write a clause for then would you do that okay

6:05:12just give us a moment everybody it doesn't change the outcome by the way anybody so we can still

6:05:18debate it at a council at the end of the month right so not a biggie okay just give clerks a

6:05:25second they're just writing it for you it might be better and cleaner if we just do all four in

6:05:34one vote so councillor gibson and billings would you mind just removing the motion that's on the

6:05:39floor sure and then i'm happy to move all four yeah okay christine you're good with that yep and then

6:05:48and and all second yep no problem uh to my council colleagues you're okay with the motion

6:05:54the main motion being removed right now okay great so yep so now we have the four that are up there
