- Nominations closed — Friday, August 21, 2026
- The last day anyone could register to run. The ballot is now set.
- Advance voting — Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 18, 2026
- City Hall (1 Carden Street) every day from October 10 to 18, plus one location in each ward from October 16 to 18.
- Election day — Monday, October 26, 2026
- Polls open across the city. This is the last day to cast a ballot.

Since you're here: Jon Christensen is running on doing the basics properly — roads and snow clearing that work, density on the arterial roads rather than dropped into established neighbourhoods, real scrutiny of the operating budget, and a University partnership that deals with student housing pressure honestly.
