1:38This is just the one minute warning then for everyone online. Okay one minute. All right

4:16Just ten more seconds for everyone online if you wanted to throw your cameras on there just for a second

4:22Just so I see who's all there. Thanks everyone

4:33Okay, I will officially call the

4:37Councilman while the shareholder meaning for Guelph Tungshin Railway limited to order and

4:44So again, we're sitting as the shareholder and off the top is there a disclosure of pecuniary interest any general nature thereof for this item

4:53Hearing and seeing none

4:55Same as last time it is looking for approval of the minutes again held on June 25th

5:022024 to be confirmed as recorded and without being read who's gonna throw those hands up for me

5:09Billings and alt. Thank you. Is there any

5:12Changes on the minutes anybody any comments?

5:16Nothing. Okay. I'll call the vote any one against those minutes

5:22Nobody that's unanimous. Thank you

5:24And we are doing pretty much a similar a similar thing that we just did five minutes ago

5:31Would someone be willing to move those recommendations again for us? Thank you Alton. Kateen. Thank you and

5:39Any any questions on that one?

5:44No, okay. I'll look to call the vote then on all of these recommendations again for the appointments of directors is anyone against

5:54Nobody great. Thank you very much

5:56So I'll look for now adjournment and

6:03Okay a question on what we just passed all right good

6:10Thanks, Megha three through you to our ggr directors

6:15We had the opportunity to visit a number of ggr clients earlier this year

6:19We know a lot of them move commodities obviously

6:22So I am just wondering and fully understanding that things are changing daily in terms of the terror threats from the United States

6:29What's the process for?

6:31ggr to analyze the potential impacts to itself and ultimately to the city as a shareholder and

6:37What is the process in terms of working with our customers?

6:45Through the chair, so that's as you noted something that's changing daily

6:50but it is something that we've already started to reach out to our ggr customers and

6:55Obviously, they're watching the terrorists and trade disruptions very closely and

7:00You know an example as we do have some product that is

7:05Moved starting from Guelph and the endpoint is in Canada, but this product. It's a wood product

7:11Does travel through the United States?

7:14So we're trying to understand with our customers what those

7:17impacts could be if there are any

7:20Plus any finished product

7:23That is shipped out of Guelph and into the United States or vice versa

7:27So we're working with our customers to understand that and then from a more corporate perspective

7:34The city launched yesterday our tariff and trade disruption website

7:40And that's really a three-pronged effort. It's to provide information for the business community. It's to provide information for residents

7:49In terms of you know shopping local shopping Canadian those sorts of things and the third prong is if

7:56There are any employment

7:58Issues that arise layoffs those sorts of things that impacted workers will have a place to go

8:03kind of a one-stop shop

8:05for their for their information around that

8:09Should any tariffs be put in in place?

8:12That were threatened last week. So so we have something up

8:15There was a press release yesterday and it's continuing to evolve and we're gonna keep that updated and we've been meeting with our

8:22What we call our grow Guelph partners the chamber

8:25Boundless accelerator the small business center

8:29The workforce planning board we've had meetings with them too so that were coordinated and kind of a team Guelph approach

8:36So that answers your question happy to answer any further. That's very helpful. Thank you

8:43Great. Thank you very much

8:46All right with that then I am looking for adjournment

8:50So or work and downer will we'll do that for us. Is anyone against adjournment?

8:57No, okay, that was great everybody

9:00So the next meeting which is our planning meeting does start at four

9:04So we will start at four for that one

9:07and so everyone have a great little break here for about 45 minutes and

9:12I'll call that meeting to order right at four o'clock. Thanks
