5:09We are meeting as the chief administrative officer recruitment selection and performance subcommittee
5:17We don't have regrets from councillor work, but she is on the way
5:20So we will have full complement once she arrives, but we have enough to move into
5:26closed session after we
5:29Do what's on our agenda here, which is to please stand if you're able and recognize our national anthem

7:14Thank you and now our indigenous territorial acknowledgement as we gather
7:18Let us take time to reflect on our privilege to live and work in Guelph a city that's built over rich indigenous histories
7:24We're guests here and we should we should reflect upon the
7:28Responsibility to care for this land the people who live here today and the generations to come
7:33If our actions today can move us towards reconciliation
7:36We should take pause and make those decisions with intention and gratitude
7:40This place we call Guelph has served as traditional lands and a place of refuge for many peoples over time
7:46But more specifically the Aniwannarok and the Honolashoni
7:50This land is held as the treaty lands and territory with the Mississaugas of the credit First Nation and Guelph is directly adjacent
7:58To the Haldeman tract which is part of a long established traditional hunting grounds for the six nations of the Grand River
8:04Many First Nations Inuit Métis people today have come from across Turtle Island and call Guelph home

1:35:08we did go into closed session earlier when we started our meeting and
1:35:13and
1:35:14My summary coming out of that is just that we had a good discussion with the recruiter
1:35:20And we gave you know, there's a lot of feedback back and forth and we ended up giving some direction
1:35:26there and to the recruiter and
1:35:28That's the takeaway for the recruiter and we'll be having further meetings coming up several of them in the next couple of months
1:35:35So with that, that's my summary and I'm just looking for a motion to adjourn, please
