15:19the Elliott Long-Term Care Residential Quarterly Report. Yeah with the recommendations are there

15:25any questions of the staff or Michelle or Martin did you want to say anything right at the beginning?

15:37A couple of things. There's nothing really to highlight as exceptional in the report

15:44but we're welcome any questions or comments. We did just want to highlight in the financial section

15:52on the back page just that we are showing a surplus in our OAA envelope and we just wanted

15:58to provide some clarity on why that is. So as you know we receive our funding through four

16:05different funding streams through the ministry. For this fiscal year we've deferred a number of

16:11large capital items as we reevaluate based on a recent building assessment. As an example

16:18elevators. The elevators in all three of our buildings are aging and so infrastructure

16:24challenges have just caused us to take a pause and determine where we might need to

16:29put some money put some capital. So that's why that is showing that way. So I just wanted to

16:35provide clarity there. Okay thank you. Are there any questions? Councillor Boussatelle.

16:44Thank you. So just to clarify around the surplus are you able to roll 100% of that forward into the

16:51next funding year? So thank you. It depends which funding stream it comes in through. In most cases

17:01we have to return any surplus except for other accommodation. That's the only surplus area that

17:08we can utilize. Okay. Are there any other questions? Councillor Allt? Councillor Allt? I think we have

17:33a connection problem. Oh there it is. Okay. You have a quick. It's a very, very quick one and it's

17:42not financial in nature but through you to the presenters if this is appropriate.

17:53Causing concerns about seasonal outbreaks of x, y or z. I was wondering if it would be possible to

18:00either comment or provide a memo to council on how to respond to those. Thanks for the question

18:10through you through you chair. So we have a very solid ipac or infection prevention and control

18:18strategy in place to manage any kind of seasonal outbreaks. Any of the respiratory outbreaks,

18:24any other outbreaks, gastro, etc. We have a pretty tight process around all of those things. I'm happy

18:31to provide details but I would want to rest assure a sure council that we're fully compliant with

18:39ipac standards. And thank you. Really I wasn't fishing. I'm just hoping that you would actually

18:46respond as you did. I appreciate that and that will give many people a sense of confidence.

18:53Thank you very much. Okay thank you. Any further questions? I don't have any but you know again

19:02congratulations on the butterfly accreditation with the highest level of accreditation for

19:09the implementation. So that's again congratulations there and glad to see you. We're still working

19:16along on your second floor also the that you're exceeding the provincial requirement of four direct

19:21hours of care per residence per day. So that's that's also good news for the high quality of care

19:28that people are getting at the aliet. I would then ask for somebody to put the motion on the

19:36floor. Councillor Allt is there a seconder? Councillor Hauser? Any further questions? Comments?

19:42Seeing none. All those against? That carries. And are there any announcements from the aliet staff?
