This is Jon Christensen's campaign website. He is running in Ward 5, not this one, so he is not on this ballot and has nothing to gain from your vote here. The page exists because nobody had published a straight, current list of everyone running in each ward. Every candidate is listed the same way, and the links go directly to their own campaigns.

Ward 6 council candidates

Ward 6 elects two councillors, so you can vote for up to two names.

Last checked against the City's official list on 2026-08-21. Nominations close on August 21, 2026, so names can still be added or withdrawn until then.

The last day anyone can register to run. After this the ballot is set.
Advance voting — Saturday, October 10 – Sunday, October 18, 2026
City Hall (1 Carden Street) every day from October 10 to 18, plus one location in each ward from October 16 to 18.
Election day — Monday, October 26, 2026
Polls open across the city. This is the last day to cast a ballot.

Who publishes this page

Jon Christensen, a candidate in Ward 5. He built a free ward lookup, a searchable database of every council vote since 2021, and these candidate lists for all six wards, because that information was hard to find and someone had to put it somewhere. Turnout in Guelph's last municipal election was 28 per cent.
