City Council as Shareholder of GMHI

1:27Alright, good morning everybody.

1:32Tuesday, March 28th. It's 945 a.m. and we're meeting here for our

1:39City Council meeting, but we're sitting as the shareholder of GMHI, Guelph Municipal Holdings, Inc.

1:47And so thank you very much again for joining and I'll call the meeting officially to order. I do have regrets from

1:54Councillor Gibson today.

1:59Right off the top, we are looking to move into a closed meeting and

2:07Before I do that, is there any disclosure or pecuniary interest or any general nature there of of the closed items out in public?

2:15Don't hear or see anything. Thank you. Consider that matter closed and what is

2:23stated on the open agenda here

2:26Under the title appointment of Guelph representative to the electoral board of directors

2:30Section 239 to be of the Municipal Act relating to personal matters about an identifiable individual including municipal or local board employees

2:40And that is the only reason we would go in closed

2:45Would some and be willing to move that forming councillor Allt will councillor Downer will second

2:51And is there anything further on that?

17:55Which is the appointment of Ms. Jane Armstrong to the board of electra for a three-year term

18:01I don't think I need to speak the whole motion. I think it is it is apparent

18:05I believe councillor O'Rourke will second the motion as well

18:10I think that

18:12Ms. Armstrong represents golf very well in this capacity and

18:16Her experience in the past is is important for us

18:21Great, thank you councillor moved and seconded already and I'll just say ditto to the comments made and anything further on this
