Land acknowledgment. The City of Guelph is located on the ancestral lands of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee peoples, and the treaty lands and territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit. The land is covered by Treaty 3 (the Between the Lakes Purchase) and lies adjacent to the Haldimand Tract.
