4:36All right, good afternoon, everyone.
4:38It is Wednesday, May the 31st, 2023.
4:41It is four o'clock and we are meeting here.
4:43It's the Chief Administrative Officer Recruitment,
4:46Selection and Performance Subcommittee.
4:49And we are looking as a committee
4:52to move into a closed session.
4:55And I'll just describe that under the Allowance
4:59under the Municipal Act of Section 2392B and D
5:03of the Municipal Act related to personal matters
5:07about an identifiable individual,
5:08including municipal or local board employees
5:11and labor relations or employee negotiations.
5:15And before we move into closed,
5:18just in the open session,
5:19any disclosure of a pecuniary interest
5:20or any general nature thereof,
5:22doubtful but looking around, seeing none.
5:26With that, would someone be willing to move
5:27to go into closed thank you, Councillor Allt?
5:29Thank you, Councillor Downer.
5:32And with that, I will call the vote.
5:34Is anyone against moving in camera?
5:38Seeing none, that's unanimous.
5:40We will be moving into a closed meeting for a discussion.
5:42And as usual, when we come back,
5:45I will give a high level summary.
5:47Thank you very much.
1:39:05For those councillors online, if you can please keep your cameras off during the duration of the
1:39:14CAO subcommittee meeting, that would be great. Please turn your cameras on once the
1:39:19open council meeting has started. Thank you. Okay everyone, I do need to
1:40:15okay everyone just to call the subcommittee the CAO recruitment selection and performance
1:40:25committee back to order. We did earlier go into a closed session that was closed. We had a
1:40:33conversation about the performance and a midterm checkup. It was a receive only of information
1:40:42and a dialogue with the with the CAO about how things were going. There was no direction that
1:40:48came out of it at all. So with that, that's my summary, but we do have open minutes. I just need
1:40:55to look to have passed and that is that the minutes of the open CAO recruitment selection
1:41:00and performance subcommittee meeting, until January 17, 2023, be confirmed as recorded and without
1:41:06being read. So thank you, councillor Roark is moving that and I'm going to go councillor Downer
1:41:16seconding that. Thank you. And Leanne, we're just I'm sorry, councillor Caron, we're just actually
1:41:21chair Caron. We are just moving the open minutes. That's all we're doing. It's been moved and seconded.
1:41:27I'm about to call the vote on that as long as there's no changes looking around the room here.
1:41:31And on nope. Okay, so is anyone it's anyone against the open minutes? All right, that passes
1:41:38unanimously. And now I need a motion to adjourn the subcommittee.
1:41:42Uh, count a chair Allt, uh, chair Caron will second that for me to adjourn. Thank you.
1:41:49Is anyone against adjournment? Nobody. Okay, so I we have adjourned the CAO subcommittee.
1:41:56That's done. And now we will just take a couple of minutes to transfer things over from a
1:42:02logistical point of view for our clerks and whatnot, before we start the council meeting. So just bear
1:42:08with us.
