3:35And so the key findings are that

3:39the city licenses six accessible profit caps

3:42and 74 regular caps.

3:48We have 30 licensed accessible drivers

3:52and 136 regular drivers,

3:55reflecting a well-established business

3:58for taxis in Guelph.

4:03The two of the six taxi cabs

4:06are currently needing to be replaced.

4:10And that is what the request is for,

4:12is for modifications,

4:14accessible modifications specifically

4:17to these two new replacement taxi cabs.

4:22There is $405,000 in the vehicle for hire program

4:28that's available for this type of work.

4:31And this is going to cost $78,000

4:37for just the accessible modifications.

4:40And of course the vehicle prices

4:42are on top of that type of thing.

4:44And that's the basic stuff that was in the report.

7:37so that we can keep this business going.

8:03with one other band that has already been converted

8:06and have some teams pick up the great model.

8:13and they're one of the top suppliers in the country.

14:10So there is a lots of room for the expansion,

14:13providing the city

14:14or the accessibility committee help us.

14:20We have to turn down some of the requests

14:21because we can't do it during the day time.

14:24we have all the whole week down six men's,

14:28and we keep on getting requests even out of the city

14:44to help them to get to their houses.

14:55to replace them by 95,000.

36:07we usually post some things online, provide resources

36:10and that's set for staff.

36:12But because they're more like public facing that way,

36:16it feels like a better fit for them.

36:19We have had previous AAC chairs and things

36:22that speak out of play, basically,

36:24from time to time about maybe initiatives

36:27that are going on that tie in with the theme for the year.

36:30So that's sort of why that is.

36:39is the Welfare Free Committee Access Recognition Awards.

36:43So this was previously hosted in 2023.

36:46So we're doing it again this year.

36:48And basically what it is,

36:50is it's our chance to celebrate our accessibility champions

36:54in our community who go above and beyond

36:57to help create an accessible city.

37:00It's a nomination-based award system.

37:02So this is for individuals who have maybe accomplished

37:08a dream or fulfilled a goal of their own

37:11that they're a person with disabilities who has done that.

37:14And then the second category is individuals, groups

37:17and or businesses who have gone over

37:20and about to remove barriers within the community.

37:23And that goes beyond just physical barriers as well.

37:27And then in July, they're presented with the award

37:31from the mayor after the committee goes through

37:34the nominations.

37:35And so right now nominations are open until June 19th

37:39and we're really hoping that perhaps you've run into a business

37:43or you know somebody in the community within Welf

37:46who fits a sort of profile

37:50and you can nominate them or encourage them to self nominate.

37:53That will be lovely.

37:54And then we can review those nominations

37:57and kind of celebrate that what our community has to offer.
