1:33Just want to let you know we're under a bit of construction so you might hear some background

2:07All right, happy new year everybody.

2:08It's January 9th, 2024.

2:11It's 1230 in the afternoon here on a Tuesday.

2:15We're here for the Chief Administrative Officer recruitment, selection, and performance

2:19subcommittee meeting agenda.

2:22And so we are looking to move into closed discussion, which is listed on the open agenda

2:29there.

2:30And first of all, is there any disclosure of pecuniary interest or any general nature

2:34thereof from any of the members?

2:37Not hearing or seeing anyone jump up and down on that.

2:40So I'll consider that matter closed.

2:43Councillor or Chair, Koran has indicated official regrets.

2:48So we'll make sure that's noted.

2:51And so we're looking to move into in-camera discussion.

2:55It's titled Chief Administrative Officer Subcommittee Performance Objective Setting

3:00for 2024 under Section 2392B and D of the Municipal Act related to personal matters about

3:08an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees, and labor relations

3:14or employee negotiations.

3:17Would someone be willing to move that for me to have us go in?

3:22Chair Downer, Chair Allt is seconding that.

3:29And seeing and hearing none against, that's unanimous.

3:31And so for the public, we will just have a closed meeting of the committee.

3:37And I'll give a high-level summary when we rise after a little while of that discussion.

1:32:45Thank you very much for the time that we had in camera just to discuss what was the objectives

1:32:52and setting for the CAO moving into 2024.

1:32:57And so for my high level summary, basically it was just that.

1:33:01We had a fulsome conversation as the committee in looking to tackle what will eventually

1:33:09become the 2024 objectives for our CAO.

1:33:13There was no decisions made, no direction made at all.

1:33:17It was just an open discussion on those objectives.

1:33:20And so things will be reported as we normally do in our process later when they're confirmed.

1:33:25And then also done as a public presentation to the public from the CAO on those objectives

1:33:32once they're finalized.

1:33:33So that's all that discussion was.

1:33:35And with that, thank you.
